Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'The story of To Be Altered is already planned through, but as voice acting is one of the most expensive aspects for this game, it can make development slower.
By putting this game in early access, it will support the continuation of development by funding for these features for the future planned acts. Rest assured, the game will still be planned to continue developing with or without extra support and it should only affect the speed of a full release.'

Hoelang blijft dit spel ongeveer in vroegtijdige toegang?

'Until all acts are complete--it's difficult to get an estimate time, but Act 1 has taken me approximately 1.5 years to develop from the ground up.
Taking that into consideration, each act may take around a year or a year and a half to create: the most realistic estimate time would be 2-3 more years, but I plan to release each act when they're ready rather than dropping it all at once.'

Hoe gaat de volledige versie verschillen van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'For the full version, I plan to create at least three acts in total, with more mini-games/interactives throughout the story, a more diverse soundtrack, more art (including in ACT 1), completionist achievements, plenty of extra branches, more localisations, and all while being fully voice-acted. I do not plan for different localisations to have different voices, the english voices will remain the same while the rest of the game is translated.'

Wat is de huidige staat van de versie met vroegtijdige toegang?

'The game is polished and playable with very little bugs. It includes ~2 hours of gameplay, 10 achievements to collect, multiple choice branches, voice acted dialogue and a minigame. If it weren't part of a bigger story, it would seem like a finished game.'

'The price will gradually increase as more acts are added. '

'Updates and announcements will be posted on the twitter/x and bluesky account, and throughout development (if there is some demand) I will occasionally do Q&A's with the community.'

The mystery and the plot is set up in a really compelling way, and the different paths give more interesting details to the story and the characters. I love how it's got equal lighthearted and emotional moments. I ADORE the characters as well, the character designs and their characterization are some of the strongest points to me. Great game!! Over dit spel

Uncover the mystery of the Ghoul's Grove, hidden in the Australian outback and filled with strange and mutilated scare actors. Darcy, an ex-detective, and his curious daughter, Jess, uncover the truth about the horrors of the carnival when they find one of the disfigured employees murdered. Play as Darcy in this multiple-choice visual novel to find out who did it, but should you have bailed when you had the chance?

Darcy has a secret too, but he can't hide it from his daughter for long. Something happened to Jess' mother before Darcy quit his job, and she can't shake off the feeling that there's more to it than what he leads on. Darcy has changed, Jess has changed as well. If they stick at this place any longer, they will both be changed for the worse.
