Why Early Access?

“Doll Labo is my first game development project.
Originally, my main work was focused on 3D CG modeling.
My ultimate goal is to deliver an immersive experience to as many people as possible.

Doll Labo is being developed entirely by myself.
By releasing it in Early Access, I hope to flexibly incorporate feedback and suggestions from players.
When developing alone, it’s easy for the project to become too subjective.
That’s why I greatly value everyone’s feedback—it helps me create a more engaging and compelling game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The Early Access period is planned to last for about 2 to 3 years.
However, this schedule may change depending on the development progress and feedback from players.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the current Early Access version, you can experience the core gameplay and main systems.
We are continuously improving the game based on player feedback to achieve a higher level of quality.
The full version will include expanded story content, additional maps, and new animations to deliver a more immersive experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, there are seven characters featured in the game.
More than 20 animation scenes have been added so far, and additional characters are planned for future updates.
We also plan to add new animation scenes for the existing characters.
The order of these additions will be determined based on player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of Doll Labo may change with future version updates.
We plan to gradually increase the price as we add new content and characters.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We mainly collect feedback through the Steam forums and X (formerly Twitter).”
