Why Early Access?

“I want to involve players early to help shape the game’s mechanics, balance, and content. Blood for the Throne is playable, but still evolving. I'm adding new locations, unit types, weapons, traits, and perks, and feedback will help refine combat, difficulty, and replayability. Early Access lets me improve the game with the community before final release.”

“The current version of Blood of the Throne showcases what the full game has to offer. It includes all the main unit types, key locations, core mechanics, and the full gameplay loop.

The full release will expand on this foundation with additional units, locations, weapons, perks, and possibly new mechanics, offering a richer and more varied strategic experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, price will be higher after Early Access. There is a lot of content/systems still in development. It would be rude to charge a higher price during Early Access, while these systems are yet unavailable.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I’ll be listening closely to player feedback and plan to implement many of their suggestions. The game will continue to evolve far beyond the original prototype. Most changes will come directly from discussions on the Steam forums and our official Discord.”

Blood for the Throne is a tactical war strategy game that blends commanding armies with auto-battler combat and RPG-style progression. As a warlord in a brutal medieval world, you must lead your general and troops through relentless battles against monsters, rival generals, and entire kingdoms, all while striving to claim the throne.
