Why Early Access?

“Early access allows us to develop platform specific features (such as steam leaderboards, cloud saves) while taking feedback from players to prioritize features and enhance the overall VR gameplay experience. The goal is to release a fun, replayable game that works well on all supported platforms.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until Christmas holidays 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release is planned to include a more unpredictable gameplay with randomized enemies, leaderboards and cloud saves. The early access version already contains all playable levels, difficulties, characters, weapons and collectables.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable in Story mode (with local progression tracking) and Party mode (local multiplayer on the same headset competing for highest score) with 3 difficulties on Meta Quest 2 and 3 VR headsets. High scores are currently tracked locally on the device. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't plan to change the price”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Primary development focus is to meet full release targets, then future development of the game largely depends on popularity and feedback from discussion boards. This can easily fuel further development of new levels, game modes, difficulties or other ideas from players.”

About This Game

Immerse yourself in the wild west as the infamous antihero El Bandito on a quest to become the most notorious outlaw in history. Set in a vibrant, cartoonish universe filled with quirky characters, intense shootouts and wild-west adventure, El Bandito delivers fast-paced, action-packed gameplay with immersive, rhythm-driven mechanics.

Mechanics: each encounter is scored based on your gun-swinging speed, accuracy and timing: perfect headshots, consecutive combos, quick reloads, and dodging enemy fire all contribute to a higher score in your rhythm-perfect performance. Look out for collectables, interactable objects and explosives! Features include haptic feedback, optional aim assistance, gesture controlled or automatic reloading. Supports standing and seated experiences.

Action-Packed VR Combat: You’ll be constantly on the move on foot, horseback, canoe, raft or even in a mine cart, dodging, shooting, and performing quick reloads in sync with dynamic soundtracks

Story mode: become notorious as you level up completing challenges, unlocking new levels, weapons, characters and various game modifiers ultimately facing tougher enemies across various environments

Party mode: play with friends locally with everything unlocked competing for the highest score
