Why Early Access?

“We want our game to be the best it can possibly be, and the Early Access program gives us the opportunity to work closely with the community to achieve this goal together. Player feedback is incredibly valuable to us. By gathering direct input from those who experience the game firsthand, we will be better equipped to refine game mechanics, improve balance, and further expand on the aspects that work best.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to complete and release the full version of the game in the first half of 2027. However, we want to ensure the game reaches the most polished state possible before exiting Early Access. Should additional development time be required to achieve higher quality standards, we may extend the initially estimated timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is expected to be approximately three times the size of the initial Early Access release and will feature a complete storyline. Depending on the depth of exploration, the total playtime is projected to exceed 8 hours. Throughout the Early Access period, we plan to consistently expand the game with substantial new content, including additional locations, characters, quests, enemy types, and boss battles. Naturally, these plans may be adjusted based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes multiple explorable areas: the town, sewers, forest, and the Fridge Dungeon. Character progression is tied to a unique feeding mechanic — players can obtain ingredients from monsters through dialogue choices, use these materials to develop dishes and generate income through restaurant management, then equip newly created meals in lunchboxes to enhance combat stats. With a wide variety of monsters and food types available, these systems offer substantial experimentation space even during Early Access. Players can strategically select different foods to feed monsters during combat, reducing battle difficulty and optimizing outcomes. The game currently supports only Simplified Chinese, but we plan to add multi-language support in the 1.0 full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We consistently gather player feedback through our QQ community and Steam forums, and will continue to rely on these platforms to obtain valuable suggestions and bug reports — this is crucial to our game development process. We encourage everyone to actively share their experiences, whether it’s gameplay feedback, improvement ideas, or bug reports. At the same time, we are closely monitoring Steam reviews to better understand what players enjoy and identify areas that need refinement.”
