Why Early Access?

“Poly Fighter is all about learning techniques from the opponents you defeat and combining them into your own moveset. Early Access lets us involve players in the final stages of development, especially around move tuning, balance, difficulty, and unexpected combinations.
”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to reach version 1.0 before summer 2027, though this may evolve based on development and player feedback.
”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more characters, techniques, bosses, and bonus stages, along with more complex boss encounters, quality-of-life improvements, balancing, and polish.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains 16 playable characters, a complete playable Discovery Loop, and the full technique-learning system, allowing for a wide variety of movesets and builds.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not planning to change the price when Poly Fighter leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community involvement is the main reason we chose Early Access. We want to hear from players and use that feedback to make Poly Fighter better.

Players can talk directly with us on Discord, and we plan to run regular closed playtests with the community for upcoming content and features.
