Miksi Early Access?

We are a small indie team, and Early Access allows us to develop the game together with the community. The core gameplay experience is already playable and stable, and Early Access helps us collect real player feedback to improve balance, quality-of-life features, and overall polish. This process allows us to iterate more efficiently and make informed development decisions as the game continues to evolve.

We currently estimate that the game may remain in Early Access for roughly 8–12 months. This timeframe allows us to iterate on existing systems, improve balance and quality, and respond to community feedback at a sustainable pace. The exact duration may change depending on development progress and the scope of improvements driven by player input.

During Early Access, we plan to expand the game over time by building on the existing content and systems. Possible additions we are currently exploring include new bosses, additional maps with unique layouts, more items and mutations, and deeper worldbuilding elements to enrich the overall experience.

We also aim to experiment with new playable characters that offer different playstyles. One of our longer-term goals is to explore multiplayer functionality, which may be prototyped and evaluated during the later stages of Early Access depending on development progress and community interest.

Our overall goal for the full release is to deliver a more refined, content-rich, and cohesive experience compared to the Early Access version.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The current Early Access version features two playable maps and one playable character, along with a complete single-player experience focused on the core gameplay loop. Fundamental systems such as combat, progression, and item management are already implemented and functional. Players can experience the intended gameplay flow from start to finish, while additional content and improvements are iterated on during Early Access.

We plan to gradually increase the price as new content and features are added throughout the Early Access period. Players who purchase the game earlier will have access to ongoing updates during development. Final pricing decisions will depend on development progress and the overall scope of the game as it evolves.

We plan to involve the community throughout Early Access through multiple feedback and communication channels, including a dedicated Discord server, Steam discussions, and social media platforms such as X (Twitter) and TikTok. Player feedback, gameplay impressions, and reported issues shared through these platforms will help guide decisions related to balance, new features, and quality-of-life improvements.

We also plan to share regular development updates, behind-the-scenes progress, and occasional test builds when appropriate, so players can actively participate in shaping the game as development continues.
