Trapped is a 2.5D sci-fi side scrolling platformer that takes inspiration from old school games. You the player, have ended up inside a computer, where you need to find out how to escape the computer that you have been trapped inside of. Why are you here and what caused you to be in this position?

«The main reason in wanting to go early access is to get player feedback so that I can make the game better. I also want to try to get people interested in the game while I am still developing the rest of the game.»

«The current planned release time frame is mid year 2026. There is a possibility that it will be a little earlier or a little later.»

«There are many things planned for the full release that are not in the early access version. I plan to have many more levels, with varying levels of complexity and difficulty. There are more enemies planned to be added, with improvements to enemy AI in the works as well. I am looking into improvements to sound and music quality as well. There will be boss fights and many hidden objects. I am also working on UI improvements»

«The current build is the first 10 level of the game which is also the tutorial for the game. There is full keyboard and mouse with controller support.»

«The early access is free, but the full game will have a price to it.»

«I want to take player feedback to make changes or improvements to the game. I also want to be able to answer questions where I feel I won't spoil anything that shouldn't be spoiled.

Про цю гру

Trapped is a 2.5D scifi side scrolling platformer, where by a series of unfortunate events, you the player, have ended up inside a computer, where you need to find out how to escape the computer that you have been trapped inside of. Why are you here and what caused you to be in this position?

Trapped takes inspiration from classic platformers, as well as other old games, when secrets weren't so easy to find in the games.

Currently, there is only a jog, run, and jump. There are two types of collectables, coins, and gems. 100 coins will gain you an extra life, and each gem you collect will grant you an extra life. At the end of the game there is a high score, based on coins collected, gems collected, and lives lost. There are also counters to let you know how many you collected out of the total.

There is currently no story in the game, that will come later. There is also currently no background music, I was working on some, but didn't feel the quality was good enough, so I pulled it.

Current Background music is by Teknoaxe, and is called Love on a Starship - Remastered.
