Why Early Access?

“Early access allows us to work with the community and produce the best possible version of GAMBA. GAMBA is still in the early phases of development, but we hope to be ready to release soon.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months, though it could take up to 18 months if needed. We plan to be open and transparent with development timelines, and will keep the community up to date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more gamemodes, more story, and community workshop support. The community will be involved in some of these choices through surveys and polls, and hopefully we can add some features via popular request,”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It features an almost playable, almost stable core loop with some progression. The story mode is in the works, with a rogue-lite mode almost ready for release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As we introduce new features and upgrades, the price will change to reflect the game's content. We're not sure as to the final price, but we're going to make sure its a good deal, and well worth your time and money.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Weekly and monthly in-game surveys will go out, as well as official GRUPOGAMBA communications via our website and soon-to-be-established discord server. We'll also release updates on development via Steam.”
