About This Game

“Roguelite board game with arty medieval swagger.” - Rogueliker

Ooh, hex tiles! Is that one those board games?

Well… yes, sort of. You pick a building and place it at the intersection of tiles. Roll the dice and watch the harvest. But that’s just the beginning…

Dragon Fodder is a zesty roguelite stew of board game mechanics, broken combos, and numbers going through the roof. Balance your board between resource production, earning ducats, and cooking up flavor for your meals.

Build harbors to add more dice to your tray and expand your shops. Create shrines that boost adjacent buildings and tiles. Find overpowered synergies and stack bonuses. Buy and use tools to improve your board, change and boost tiles, and fix your dice. Choose from a wide selection of recipes that change the way you play the game.

Want to make English food? Go ahead… just don’t add any spice.

Want a die with six sixes? Let me grab my chisel.

Want to pet the dragon? Oh, you can do that too. Just watch out when the hanger strikes…

Dragon Fodder draws inspiration from Balatro, as the fodder x flavor scoring mechanic should feel very familiar to fans of that delightfully addictive card game. Wrapped in lovely hand-drawn art style, Dragon Fodder hopes to give you that shot of dopamine you crave so much. Also, there might be a co-op mode in the works…

Here’s what’s on the menu:

  • Hex tiles - familiar to all board game fans, but without real-world limitations

  • 80+ unique recipes - each one changes how the game is played

  • 100+ buildings - place, upgrade, and combine for absurd resource engines
