Miksi Early Access?

While an early access game is filled with content already, we are still going to implement many more Biomes, Unique Chunks, Enemies, Systems, Gameplay types and expand on world generation. The entire game was also built around co-op in mind, so we also want to implement online co-op, but it takes a substantial amount of time to complete, so it was not possible to finish it on the early access release.
Additionally, we want to gain players’ feedback for possible game improvements before the game is set in stone.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

Based on our experience, we would expect to finish a game within a year.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

1) We plan to expand the players' influence on world generation and add chunks with unique scenarios or events.

2) We intend to add more artefacts, upgrades and unique player tanks or tank upgrade trees.

3) Additionally, we plan to add way more enemies/bosses and unique mechanics for each of them and keep on improving enemy AI.

4) Any good suggestions from the community will also be taken into consideration.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The game already has a procedurally generated destructible world, artefacts, upgrade system and features unique enemies.

We believe that the Cardboard Tanks already contain a substantial amount of content, ready to be played with. Moreover, it is also a stable game base ready for future expansion.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

On full release, our game price might increase by as much as 30%.

We will be active on the Steam community page of our Cardboard Tanks game. We want to gather as much constructive feedback as possible from our community and improve the game based on it. After all, we make this game for you, the players.
