Why Early Access?

“While an early access game is filled with content already, we are still going to implement many more Biomes, Unique Chunks, Enemies, Systems, Gameplay types and expand on world generation. For now, the plan is to release the main campaign in chapters, introducing new bosses and mechanics for each new biome, starting with a single polished campaign biome and an extensive survival mode.

Additionally, we want to gain players’ feedback for possible game improvements before the game is set in stone.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to complete the game within a year and will continue adding content as it grows in success.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“World Generation:
Our goal is to deepen player agency. Future updates will introduce interactive world-generation elements and specialized map chunks featuring bespoke narrative events.

Progression:
We are committed to expanding build diversity. Players can look forward to an enriched system of artefacts, upgrades, and deeply customizable tank progression paths.

Enemies & AI:
To elevate the combat experience, we will be introducing complex boss encounters, distinct enemy behaviours and unique events.

Community:
Community-driven development remains a core pillar. We will continue to evaluate and implement highly valued player concepts.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game already has a procedurally generated destructible world, artefacts, upgrade system and features unique enemies.

We believe that the Cardboard Tanks already contain a substantial amount of content, ready to be played with. Moreover, it is also a stable game base ready for future expansion.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“On full release, our game price might increase by as much as 30%.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be active on the Steam community page and our Discord channel. We want to gather as much constructive feedback as possible from our community and improve the game based on it. After all, we make this game for you, the players.”
