Uncover shady expenses and balance ethics with survival in Tax It Easy, a satirical inspector sim where every invoice tells a story. As a full-time Tax Scrutinizer, it’s your job to check files, spot suspicious claims, and decide: approve, reject, or pocket a bribe.

Inspect, Compare, Decide

Each day begins at your desk. Read the morning paper for new rules, then dive into piles of tax documents, income records, expense reports, bank statements, and more. Look for inconsistencies:

• Income vs. Expenses – Is a shopkeeper really spending more than they earn?
  
• Suspicious Expenses – Does a YouTuber really need a 1 million USD water bill?
  
• Hidden Income – Bank deposits that mysteriously don’t match the reports.
  
• Duplicate Invoices – The same laptop bought three times? Looks fishy.

Choices Have Consequences

Stamp the file Approved, Rejected, or mark it for further review. But beware:

• Bribes – Accept quick cash at your own risk. If the system catches you, it’s over.
  
• Political Pressure – High-profile clients may bring shady favors and threats.
  
• Relationships – Keep your balance with politicians, the state, and the public. Anger the wrong side, and your career (or life) may end abruptly.

Upgrade Your Office

Use your earnings to improve your workspace or… your connections. New tools, cozier offices, fancy décor, or backdoor deals and shadowy upgrades. Your choices shape your path.

Multiple Endings

Your career can end in very different ways:

• Golden Inspector – Reject every bribe and become a legendary inspector.
  
• Cunning Inspector – Cozy up to politicians and trade your stamp for power.
  
• Secret Tycoon – Take the money, disappear abroad, and retire in luxury.
  
• Blacklisted – Get caught in a corruption scandal and vanish from the system.
