Through dialogue and investigation, you must gather information, interrogate heretics, and decide their ultimate fate. But be warned: the path ahead is filled with dread and chaos. Don't let your guard down.

Every choice you make directly impacts the ending, with multiple distinct outcomes awaiting you.

Converse with Suspects

The core of this mystery revolves around 15 unique characters. Each person holds their own secrets and stories, some offering help while others present a direct threat. You must engage with them in conversation to gather information, find evidence, and piece together the truth.

Search and Gather Evidence

During your investigation, you'll need to meticulously search specific locations. Examine objects to find clues and information, and solve puzzles to advance the story.

You can also use Inquisitor Shepherd's special ability, 'Sin Powder.' This sacred power heightens your senses, allowing you to uncover information that would otherwise be hidden or break through a tough interrogation.

Interrogate and Judge Heretics

As an Inquisitor, you'll use all the information and evidence you've gathered to interrogate the heretics. You must see through their lies and deception, or, in some cases, clear the name of an innocent person to reveal the true culprit. Your final verdict — Guilty or Innocent — will determine their destiny and completely alter the course of the narrative.
