Before The Fade is a cinematic side-scrolling puzzle adventure set between the present day and the chaos of World War I. A sudden war tears your world apart and the woman you love is taken from you. In the aftermath of a devastating blast, you awaken in another time. To survive and to find her, you must rely not on brute force, but on wit, precision, and the help of your drone.

Across a series of hand-crafted levels you will solve environmental puzzles, overcome deadly obstacles, and use your drone to manipulate the battlefield. Push crates, open blocked paths, drop bombs from above, or combine multiple mechanics to move forward. Every stage introduces new challenges and forces you to think differently.

Enemy soldiers from both eras, guard dogs, collapsing structures, and war machines stand in your way. Sometimes the pace is tense and urgent, sometimes reflective and cinematic, but the journey is always forward. Towards the hope of finding her. Story moments and cutscenes connect each sequence into a narrative that blurs the line between past and present.
