Games of Rome is a 2D top down boss rush game taking place in the Colosseum during the time of the Roman Empire. The player will fight foes all based on Roman history and myth, for the entertainment of the people of Rome.

Games of Rome allows the player to select different gladiator fighting stales that were used during the Roman Empire. Players will also be able to selectded what boss they want to fight as well as any challenges to make the fights harder for any players wanting more out of the fight.

Players will be able to choose from three different fighting styles all of which are actually from fighting styles Roman gladiators used in history. Players will fight three different bosses such as as lions, the Roman Emperor Commodus, and Janus the god of choice. Player will also be able to choose different challenges and upgrades to make the game harder or to make it more interesting. During the fight the player will have to deal with one of five stage effects based on a few of the emperors.
