Akairu and his mother have just moved to a small Japanese village, hoping for a fresh start. But soon after arriving, she falls ill from the sickness spread by Kaivee, a restless spirits that corrupting the land with purple mud and weaken the elders.

To save her, you must cook nourishing meals while facing the Kaivee's spirits, with the help of your new neighbors. A resourceful engineer equips you with a custom water gun, and a kind veterinarian guides you in caring for animals and understanding the harm caused by the spirits.

By cleansing the mud and calming the Kaivee, you place their purified forms into Kaivee House, a structures that gradually heal the soil and unlock fertile farmland. As you lend a hand to villagers, they share ingredients, stories, and warmth, making cooking, caring, and community the path to restoring life in the village.

• Water Gun Cleansing

Use a custom water gun built by the engineer to wash away Kaivee’s muds, calm Kaivee's spirits, and solve environmental puzzles.

• Kaivee: Spirits, Houses and Farmland Restoration

Place purified Kaivee (in form of stone) into man-made Kaivee Houses (stone will turn into Good Kaivee). Their contained energy gradually heals the soil, unlocking farmland and bringing crops back to life.

• Gain Support from Village Experts

Upgrade your water gun and tools with the engineer’s help, and learn from the veterinarian how to care for animals, understand the Kaivees’ impact, and rescue strays in need.

• Care, Looting and Cooking

Aid sick villagers, animals, and your mother by cleansing infected areas, gathering ingredients, and cooking nourishing meals with neighbors.

• Befriend Over 15 Diverse Villagers

From local farmer, engineer to a foreign worker, you will meet to help or to heal them, uncover their stories and unlock the special dishes only they can cook.
