About This Game

30 Days: A Sobriety Simulator is a deeply resonant cyberpunk visual novel / life sim that puts you in the shoes of a recovering addict during their first 30 days of sobriety, struggling to rebuild their life, reconnect with their community, and avoid relapsing. “Stardust” is a drug that makes many promises: an escape from stress and trauma, relaxation, and a feeling of being more than just “part of the machine”. But there’s a price to be paid, and there are other people who need you. Lives to touch, connections to make. What will you choose?

FEATURES

  • Dozens of characters to connect with, influence, and be influenced by.

  • Unlock different storylines by building skills and relationships, while random events shift the course of each playthrough, offering many different experiences.

  • Improve your life by forming new connections with other people and strengthening old ones. Work to earn promotions, upgrade your skills, and create a community. Rebuild yourself a little bit at a time.

  • Continue along the path of recovery, or spiral into relapse, losing yourself in the fantasies and costs of Stardust.

  • Stardust minigames capture both the escapist allure of drug use and also the vicious costs.

  • Experience the unique cyberpunk world of New Miami in a clean 2D visual style. Custom character-models on beautiful and highly detailed backgrounds add tone and depth to every scene.

OVERCOME THE ADDICTION THAT HAUNTS YOUR FAMILY

Stardust is more than just the drug of the day. Our protagonist embarks on their first thirty days of sobriety after nearly dying from an overdose… and their father wasn’t so lucky. His death from addiction all those years ago is finally starting to hit home as they move back to their hometown of New Miami, desperate to try and regain some stability through old haunts and old connections.

MAKE CHOICES AND FIND YOUR PATH

Every decision matters, and the consequences are rarely obvious.

Do you take a normal day at work, clock-in & out at your normal hours, building your resolve by setting healthy boundaries and taking care of yourself? Well your boss may see things differently - demoting you for failing to put in extra effort during crunch time.

Are you going to stay out late partying with a former best friend, or stand your ground and help them realize their problems?

Will you save the local skatepark, or sellout to The Corporation?

The choices are are up to you. The consequences are yours to own. Can you make it 30 Days?
