“Clash for the Kingdom is a project built around a unique turn-based core that requires careful and precise balance tuning. We chose Early Access because we believe that creating a truly deep strategy game is impossible without active community involvement.

We want to bring players in during the formation of the online mode and the introduction of new factions, so we can refine the rules together, make battles fair and exciting, and ensure that every “living” unit feels truly unique. Your feedback will help us understand which new historical collections and mechanics you want to see in the final version.”

大体どのくらいの期間このゲームを早期アクセスにする予定ですか？

“At the moment, we are targeting a timeframe of approximately 6–12 months; however, this schedule may change depending on the development process and the feedback received.”

“We plan to continue developing the project based on player feedback, so the final content of the game may change over time. At present, our main areas for potential expansion include:

Exploring new factions:
We intend to explore the possibility of adding new historical factions, such as Cossacks and Pirates, along with dedicated sets of animated 3D models.

Expanding arena variety:
Our goal is to create additional themed battle locations to further enhance the game’s visual experience.

Developing online features:
We plan to work on improving online functionality, which may include enhancements to the matchmaking system and the introduction of leaderboards in the future.

Informational content:
We hope to enrich the game with historical background information about the figures in order to strengthen the project’s educational aspect.

Gameplay development:
We aim to build an ecosystem in which community feedback and suggestions play a key role in the game’s future development.”

早期アクセスバージョンの現状はどうなっていますか？

“At this stage, Clash for the Kingdom is in a fully playable beta state.

What is already implemented:

Core mechanics: A fully polished turn-based system on a 7×7 board, including territory capture rules and enemy unit elimination.

First faction: A complete set of 6 unique, fully animated 3D models for the Knights faction. Each unit has its own movement style and visual identity.

Game modes: Local multiplayer (shared screen) and a single-player mode against artificial intelligence (AI) are available.

Locations: One complete themed arena (a Medieval Tavern).

Online play: A partially implemented PvP mode that already allows players to test their skills in online battles.

The game already offers a complete gameplay loop; however, we continue to work on balance improvements and the addition of new factions”

“For us, it is critically important to hear players’ opinions on game balance. We will actively use the Steam forums and our Discord channel to gather feedback, discuss new mechanics, and choose the next historical factions to be added to the game. Every player will be able to influence what the final version of the game becomes.”
