Why Early Access?

“We’re launching SoundBoard in Early Access because we want to involve the community from the very beginning in the app’s development. We’re still improving key features, and financial support from users will help accelerate development and enhance the final product’s quality. However, even without that support, the project will be completed — Early Access is simply a way to make progress faster and more collaborative with direct help from the community.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“SoundBoard will remain in Early Access until all major planned features are complete and fully stable — we estimate between 3 to 6 months, but this may change depending on community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full release, we plan to expand the possibilities of SoundBoard.
Among the planned additions are systems for creating custom themes, the option to follow other users, folders to organize sounds, and several other improvements.
Our goal is to make the app even more customizable and social.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the app includes a community-driven sound library where users can like and use shared sounds. You can also visit other users’ profiles, play local audio files, set up personalized shortcuts, and use the SoundDeck — which lets you control the app directly from your phone. Even so, we’re still refining performance, interface, and stability details.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, the price will be adjusted when the full version is released.
During Early Access, SoundBoard is offered at a reduced price as a way to support development and those who believe in the project from the beginning. After the full launch, the price will reflect all the new features and improvements added.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community participation is essential — we love hearing the opinions and ideas of our players. We’re always active on Discord and Steam discussions, keeping a close eye on every suggestion, bug report, and comment. Every bit of feedback is welcome and helps us continuously improve SoundBoard, building the app together with the community.”
