About This Demo

Accompany Main on a journey through Corestate, a long fogotten kingdom, while he is trying to find his way back home.

Corestory is a 2D pixel-art action RPG where your choice matters. Explore a variety of different areas, upgrade your gear and overcome the challenges you may face.

Features (of the full game):

• Sidescroller parts where combat is happening and top down parts for more "relaxed" gameplay at some locations

• 14 different areas to explore. You may choose the path on which you progress yourself but also won't be left entirely clueless about where to go.

• Different weapons and armor to unlock. Each weapon comes with its own unique charged attack, giving it a distinct playstyle.

• Around 40 relics to find. Relics provide buffs, some specific, some generalistic, giving you the option to play how you want and to create your own builds.

• Artifacts that unlock various powerful abilities and spells. These, in typical "Metroidvania fashion", might also come in handy during exploration.

• Upgrade your gear with ores. Almost everything can be upgraded! Artifacts even unlock entirely new abilities that way.

• Over 70 different enemies and 25 bosses to fight against

• Meet a cast of memorable characters. Although not all of them may want to meet you...

• And decide the stories course through your actions.

The demo only includes the content of the first 3 of the 14 areas. It is currently only available for Windows PCs, but it already comes with complete controller support.
