Why Early Access?

“We're launching in Early Access because we want to build Escape Protocol together with our players. The core experience — traversing pocket dimensions with your DataTool's Hook, Magnet, and Hack modes, completing cooperative objectives, and surviving the anomalies standing in your way — is fun and fully playable, but there is still meaningful content to develop. Real player feedback will help us shape it into the best game it can be.
This is 4FingerStudios' first major release, and we are deeply committed to seeing it through. Early Access allows us to stay funded and focused on development while growing a community of agents who genuinely influence the game's direction — new dimensions, new upgrades, new story chapters, and beyond. Necrova is a story years in the making, and we want the people playing it to be part of bringing it to life. We are fully committed to regular updates, open communication, and taking every piece of player feedback seriously every step of the way”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We estimate roughly 1 to 2 years in Early Access, with the goal of reaching full release sometime in that window. Game development can be unpredictable, and we'd rather take the time needed to get things right than rush. We'll keep the community regularly updated on our progress and any shifts in our roadmap.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Right now the game is limited to a few missions. We plan to expand the missions and pass phases for the full release, though the exact scope will depend on development progress and player feedback”

“Right now there are 2 missions, a test phase and full multiplayer capabilities. ”

“No! The game will stay free to play through release and beyond.”
