Why Early Access?

“Circle of Bosses is releasing in early access so that players can experience all the game already has to offer as soon as possible, as well to receive & incorporate player feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Is currently planned to be in EA roughly between 6 months to one year and I aim to do regular content updates along the way to add multiple new bosses.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to expand on the foundation laid in Early Access. Planned additions include:

* More BOSSES and dungeons/raids!
* New quests
* Heroic mode with new combat mechanics for extra replayability
* Extra detailed combat reports and metrics for the guild
* UI Configurable keybinds
* Legendary Item sets that give special benefits to guild characters
* Localization into many languages”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version is planned to contain the main gameplay loop up to the most recent final boss, including:

* Many dungeons and raids with 14+ bosses
* 8 guild characters each with different subclass and combat active and passive skills
* Many potions that give combat benefits during combat
* Realtime combat with segregated tactics for each guild party and boss phase
* Give instructions to AI controlled characters
* Manage your guild before boss fights
* Upgrade characters gear and stats
* Continue your adventure seamlessly with every new dungeon and raid that is added
* Support for QWERTY AND AZERTY keyboards. Support for gamepads.
* Support for all screen resolutions

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes! Circle of Bosses is available at a lower price while it’s in Early Access. As I add more content and get closer to version 1.0, the price will likely go up to match the final version. It’s a way of thanking the early community members for jumping in to help me shape the game.””

About This Game

Circle of Bosses is a unique game that provides the complex mechanics of MMORPG Bosses but on a singleplayer offline experience. It's a realtime tactics game with a top-down view where the player assumes the role of a guild leader that can give instructions to AI characters.

A group of thieves and wrongdoers manages to escape from prison and decide to form a guild. These antiheroes realize they can kill and loot the most powerful bosses in the land and even seek vengeance on their old enemies.

You play the role of guild leader and you will define the best strategies to defeat bosses, manage gear and equipment for all the raiders.

Fight challenging bosses and get better gear for your raid!

Bosses will have many mechanics and different phases through out an encounter. Each boss is completely unique and provides a challenge completely different from the previous ones and with 50+ bosses expected on the full release of the game you can expect an array of many tactical choices that can rival some of the best MMO games encounters!

There will be 8 antiheroes in total that you'll be able to pick and add to your parties. Each raider represents a unique class and subclass with its own abilities and chracteristics.

A party can consist of tanks, healers and damage dealers. Defeated bosses will drop loot that you can use to evolve the guild characters.

Altought the focus is the tactical aspect of the game the music will be implemented in an adaptive way and that doesn't feel repetive, encouraging the player to keep listening even when trying to defeat a boss through many runs.

Experience a unique fantasy world depicted in a mix of grunge and painted style scenarios. Comic book influences like halftones and dialogues help give some personality to the wicked characters, while words are used to give life to the environment.
