You're awakened in the middle of the night for an emergency meeting in your war room. A virus is spreading on Odyssa. If it breaks containment and reaches the rest of the galaxy, the casualties will be innumerable. The problem? Odyssa is a key mining planet for nitrium, the lifeblood of the galaxy. Will you eradicate the population of Odyssa to resume mining efforts or will you try to rescue as many survivors as you can?

You are the Archon, and this burden is yours.

• There Are No Right Answers, Only Consequences: Navigate through complex branching encounters and heavy moral conundrums where each choice comes with an associated resource or human cost.

• Manage, Prepare, Act: Take constant inventory of your empire's holdings via resource management indicators, intelligence briefings, and direct messages to ensure you're best equipped to handle the growing unrest within your empire.

• They're All Pawns On Your Board: Romance, persuade, or antagonize over twenty human and alien NPCs that inhabit the galaxy, each with their own goals, motivations, and personalities. Build the web of your future or get caught in its creation.

• Placate Your People's Qualms, Or Don't: Once a quarter, open your court to the public. Meet with your constituents face-to-face and listen to their emotionally charged pleas as a result of your decisions. Offer them aid or dismiss their petitions—as is your discretion.

• Define Your Humanity: Through a mixture of galaxy-wide laws, technological paths, and planet-shattering decisions, shape what the future of your empire becomes with one of over a dozen combined endings. Create a utopia of personal freedoms or an isolated faction ruled by religious dogma... or die trying.

• YOU Are The Archon: Choose from nine different male and female character images that best represent you. Select your Archon's history, providing unique dialogue options and starting stats for your next playthrough.

After centuries of civil war, resources are scarce, tensions remain high, and humanity is crawling out of self-imposed darkness. The warring political houses have agreed to peace, but schemes and plots threaten to unravel everything from within the Empire. 

Technologically superior alien governments encroach on your borders, each bringing their own demands and desires. The people look to you, the Archon, to define humanity's place among the stars. Will you usher your empire into a new age of prosperity or plunge civilization back into the cold darkness of space.
