Why Early Access?

“Early Access because the task of developing a proper fly fishing game is huge and cannot be done properly without feedback from the players. I have already spent months (years?) crafting the physics, optimizing for VR, and trying to get to this unique feeling of having your feet in a river with beautiful nature surrounding us.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Probably more than a year, a 1.0 release should be perfect, also it's a hobby project on top of a full time job.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“1.0 should have a couple of rivers, fish species, rods, flies and a proper tutorial so people not familiar with fly fishing can still play the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently there is realistic rod and line physics, river currents, fish fight in one river with one type of fish.
There is also some cast training available.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes the price in EA will be lower than the 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The fly fishing community and the gamer community are really active and always keen to share their thoughts on how to improve things. I'll closely gather feedbacks from all sources and listen to players to plan the next steps. Join me on my discord, check the socials links.”

About This Game

The only realistic fly fishing simulation

Wade is a realistic fly fishing simulation with line and rod physic as close as possible from real life. It will feels like you are on a river far from everything else.

Master the river

The river currents are carefully crafted to mimic what you would see, practice your cast, mend your line to keep your fly alive and not drifting. 

Thrill of the fight

You know this adrenaline rush when a fish bite your fly? Stay focus, keep a good tension on your line, drop your rod when the fish jumps. And catch incredible clear water fish.
