You’ve lost your head. Literally.
You were the most feared executioner… until someone tore it off.
Now, driven by fury and vengeance, you’ll traverse a twisted world, decapitating enemies and stealing their heads to claim their powers. Each head grants you unique abilities you’ll need to overcome obstacles and continue your hunt.
You’ll have to use your head… even if it isn’t your own.

Guillotine is a single-player puzzle-platformer with the soul of a metroidvania.
Our headless executioner will slice off heads and use them to solve clever challenges. You can also enhance heads with moonstone and combine them with your gear to craft unique strategies.

The adventure unfolds in a fantastical Basque Country, explored through a minimap. In this altered world, you’ll encounter legendary figures such as Patxi Errementaria, Olentzero, Gargantúa, and the Sorgina. Some will aid you, others will turn your journey into a nightmare. Meanwhile, the influence of the moonstones fuels endless festivals—where traditions and costumes are more alive than ever.

On your journey, you’ll collect more than 10 different heads: from clueless chickens to mighty harrijasotzailes and terrifying zakuzaharras.
Hours of exploration, experimentation, terror, and humor await you in Guillotine.
