     Cortesia Rising is a Space Captain Simulator that combines spaceship battles, ship & crew management, and turn-based tactical combat. Engage in broadside naval battles, run trading and smuggling operations, take on missions, explore planets, maintain crew morale through supplies and wages, and upgrade your ship.

     The same officers you recruit and level-up also fight alongside you in detailed tactical battles during boarding actions and planetside gunfights. The integration of these systems creates consistent progression: the crew you manage directly impacts both your success in space and your effectiveness in tactical combat.

     The lawless expanse of the frontier offers the prospect of great opportunity for those independent Captains brave, or crazy, enough to risk it. Explore different colonies, space stations, asteroid bases, and more. Fame and fortune await those who can navigate Cortesia's many hazards, such as merciless pirates, volatile colonial politics, and the unrestrained ambition of Old Earth's Megacorporations.

     As Captain of a Starship, it's up to you to outfit your ship and hire the right officers to manage your crew. Assemble your hand-picked team of Navy Veterans, former Pirates, shrewd Traders, eccentric Engineers, and more to lead your boarding actions, negotiate trade deals, put down mutinies, explore planets, or simply give your enemies another target to shoot at.

     Build a fortune trading (or smuggling) goods between colonies, or terrorize the space lanes as a infamous pirate. Work with one of the many factions vying for control of Cortesia and its resources, or become their sworn enemy by opposing them. Every decision you make will not only determine the fate of you and your crew, but can have a lasting impact on the future of the Cortesia System.
