Leaving Early Access: 2028

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Why not? The game is in active development and is being worked on consistently to bring the best platformer experience! (that is completely free)”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Roughly by 202x, it depends on how much stuff there is left to add(which is still a lot)”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will slowly become more and more like the full version. Whenever I feel like It'll be out of early access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“it has :
- 390 legacy levels and 12 worlds, with 310 normal levels and 310 hard levels.
- Kip 1!
- you can adjust settings to your liking, to make it either pretty intensive(not really though)or so you can run kip 2 on a literal potato”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No it will always be free.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Yes, I try to listen to every bit of feedback or criticism, as long as people are respectful and don't ask for things like "better movement" or "a less slippery player sprite", those are things that are easy to change but will break a ton of levels.

I'll try to incorporate gimmick ideas from suggestions(and crediting people if they want to) and adjust levels if they're too easy or too hard (most are too hard)”

About This Game

Kip is a very very difficult precicion platformer inspired by the hardest games in gaming, such as Kaizo SMW hacks, like Grand Poo World and Dram World. But also games like "I wanna be the guy" and "super meat boy".

With over 600 story mode levels, Kip 2 pushes your skills and consistency to its limits.

Finished story mode or are you stuck at a level? more awaits. Older legacy levels from before Story Mode existed are also available, offering even more content for the players who want everything. Some levels may be a bit rough, but feel free to skip some to keep the momentum going.

Made for the determined

Whether you're an experienced platformer player or just a newbie looking to prove yourself. Kip has it all. As you progress, harder variants unlock, they're optional but are extremely difficult versions of levels made only for the best players/

Precision above all

Kip features very tight, unforgiving controls that require a lot of accuracy and timing. The learning curve is pretty steep, but with enough patience and persistence, anything is possible.

Sometimes the game has some quirky hitboxes, this is because the game is entirely built with "Turbowarp", a faster engine of "Scratch".

No monetization

Kip is free to play, with no monetization of any kind, even with future updates and DLC, it'll all be free for anyone to enjoy :p

If you love pushing your limits, smashing your head to seemingly impossible levels and flexing your kipping skills. Let's Kip it!
