About This Game

It's an open world, and your tools are travel, combat, and trade. To get stronger you need practice and perks, and to get perks you need score. Score comes from completing goals and beating bosses. You also need money, which comes from trade, contracts, and gathering. The game gets harder over time. You win by making it to the retirement deadline, and you win harder by making it to the deadline with a higher score than before.

Some features:

• Overworld travel as a roaming warband, affected by different terrains, weather, and local effects.

• Trade between different towns, each selling and buying a different set of goods.

• Autobattler combat against enemy bands.

• Score gained from accomplishing specific goals, and spent to draw new perks.

• Use-it-to-improve-it skills.

• Procedurally generated fighter types.

• Fighter stats govern combat performance, longevity, travel speed, cargo capacity, stealth, and terrain effect resistance.

• Lenient permadeath: being defeated places you in a temporary vulnerable state; being defeated while vulnerable is game over.
