About This Software

"Bold Ideas 2 My Desktop" is a desktop beautification and file management software. You can drag various desktop files into your favorite 3D map, which will generate corresponding 3D icons. You can watch the 3D icons wander around the map or even sleep. When needed, just double-click the 3D icon to open the corresponding file.

The core purpose is to bring fun to boring work. Many people's computers are cluttered with files. My Desktop is embedded into the computer desktop, turning it into a small interactive space. Files and folders placed on the desktop become eye-catching 3D icons, adding to the beauty of the desktop.

Thank you for everyone's suggestions, but as a single developer, I couldn't even complete 5% of the suggestions in such a short time. So I had to prioritize the important parts and tackle them one by one! Finally, in three weeks, I completed the creative workshop, made over 20 improvements, and added over 20 maps.

But I knew it wasn't enough. I barely finished the functionality. There were still many details that needed to be optimized. The UI was simply cobbled together to meet the needs of the functionality. And because it's multilingual, the English version is long, so much of the UI had to be left blank. It also requires a lot of testing and bug fixing...

In short, 'Bold to Desktop' has a lot of room for improvement; it lacks detail and polish! I really can't do it all by myself, so I'll just do my best to get the main features done. As long as 'Bold Desktop' survives, I'll slowly adjust these details.

The basic operation is as follows: (For details, see

Clicking the map three times will bring up the menu (pressing Alt+123 also opens the interface quickly).

For the 'Small House' and 'Small Plot' scenes, you can switch between maps using the left and right arrow keys, and you can set one to four maps to display simultaneously.

Right-clicking an icon allows various actions, including changing outfits.

Right-clicking a map opens all files on the map.

By default, you can simply drag a file icon onto the map, then click it to place it.

In full-screen mode and with clipboard monitoring enabled, select a file or folder with your mouse and press Ctrl+C on your keyboard to copy the corresponding 3D model.

Double-clicking the 3D model will also open the corresponding file or folder.

Drag the 3D model onto the corresponding furniture or animal, and the model will automatically attach to it. Double-clicking the furniture will also open the corresponding file.
