Compact Colonies is a tightly scoped survival colony-builder focused on resource scarcity, tile efficiency, and thoughtful expansion. You start with a single settler, some basic supplies, and a small plot of land—your goal is to grow a thriving, self-sustaining settlement in a world where everything is limited.

COLONY SURVIVAL

Chop wood, hunt game, build houses, and assign settlers to specialized roles like farming, building, or gathering. Unlock new structures and features as your colony grows, but be careful - resources like corn and tobacco, are finite unless cultivated wisely. Establish permanent crops to keep your people fed, and protect your farmland from wildlife that can ruin your food supply.

MAINTAIN BALANCE

Each new settler increases the complexity of your management, as food drains faster and new needs arise. Keep your villagers fed and faithful by constructing paths, decorations, and religious landmarks that boost morale and unlock new opportunities. Trade strategically with local vendors to stay ahead of shortages, and balance your choices between short-term survival and long-term sustainability.
