Wozu Early Access?

„The early access period will be used to get community feedback on the game while the planned remaining features are developed. This feedback will be used to determine if there are any fundamental changes or additional features that need to be added before the full release.“

„Early access is estimated to last until early 2026. This may be extended based on community feedback if other additions or changes are needed for the full release.“

„The final version is planned to have additional content in the form of more deckbuilding options, world map events, and bounties. Other potential additions are interface improvements, controller support, achievements, and Linux/Mac builds, though some of these may be delayed until after the full release.“

„The current version has all 10 playable scenarios and the full roguelite Campaign mode. The Danger Level system has been added which provides increasing difficulty challenges. A scoring system called Prestige has also been added where the player can challenge themselves by completing tasks for a higher score.“

SPELLCAST is a fusion of card battlers and word games. Construct your deck with runes and bonuses, then play words on a grid to use them in battle. The power of your spells changes based on the words and letters you play, making each turn a delicate balance of wizardry and wordplay.

Grow more powerful by optimizing your runes and bonuses, collecting artifacts, and upgrading your tiles. Runes also have multiple upgrades that can enhance or greatly change their effects, for a wide variety of deckbuilding possibilities.

Battle your way through 10 unique scenarios, or play the campaign for a more traditional roguelite experience. Increase the difficulty by tackling higher Danger Levels, or challenge yourself by completing bounties to earn Prestige!
