About This Demo

Astrocore Mining is a colony simulation sandbox game set in the unforgiving depths of space. Manage a mining colony on asteroids, extract valuable resources, and meet corporate quotas, or face dire consequences. Layout Planning is key; design and build underground bases, optimize resource management, and maintain a balance between survival and efficiency. Command ships, defend against pirate raids, and modify asteroids with thrusters to advance to the next system. Can you survive the harsh demands of deep-space capitalism?

Build, Expand, and Exploit

• Asteroid Colonization: Transform lifeless rock into a thriving mining operation. Tunnel through asteroids, construct underground facilities, and optimize your colony’s layout for efficiency.

• Dynamic Resource System: Extract rare minerals, refine resources, and maintain a steady supply chain to meet corporate demands. (In the demo, you will start with limited resources and a single currency.)

• Survival & Population Management: Keep your colonists alive in the cold void of space. Oxygen, food, power, and morale; every detail matters in maintaining a stable workforce. . (In the demo, population is determined by the number of beds, and water/food consumption is crucial for survival.)

• Procedural Asteroid Generation: Each system presents new challenges with unique asteroid compositions and environmental hazards. (The demo version will feature a single, enlarged starting asteroid for your operations.)

Space is Not Empty. It's Dangerous.

• Hostile Encounters: Defend your operation against pirate raids, corporate rivals, and the unpredictable dangers of deep space.

• Attack Ships and Defense: Deploy defenses to protect your assets or raid enemies with attack ships for valuable loot. (The demo will allow you to purchase ships and utilize a Radar Unit for in-range reconnaissance and command.)

• Asteroid Modification: There's no end to expansion. Attach thrusters to asteroids and guide them to new star systems for fresh mining opportunities. (Asteroid time progression and multi-asteroid colonization features are disabled in the demo version.)
