Was die Entwickler zu sagen haben:

Wozu Early Access?

„SeaCret is a passion project not yet finished, I'm a full-time YouTuber for more than a decade (in Spanish) and I've always wanted to program videogames by myself. I've always struggled with developers never completing anything or stealing money from me while not finishing the game. I've proven myself I can do it on my own and I want this to look as good as possible. But definitely, this is not the final version. I want the people who play it to tell me what they're missing from the game that, although is very complete right now, I want it to be even better! That's why I don't call it "full game" yet.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„Probably a year or so. I actually work pretty fast. It all depends on how successful it is and how much time I can take away from my current job to dedicate more time to this.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„I want to add romance options, marrying someone different on each port and that can trigger some unfaithfulness arguments, etc. “

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„It's pretty filled with functionalities and easter eggs actually, to enumerate some:
- It's a 17th-century Caribbean simulator, with merchants trading in real time, pirates, cities with different products and dynamic prices that change depending on the amount of stock they have.
- The game consists of trying to earn the most money, building increasingly powerful ships (first tartanas, schooners, corvettes, frigates, and finally galleons (from least powerful to most powerful).
- You can also be the governor of a city and tax your citizens or not (depending on the number of citizens).
- Each city has a unique soundtrack.
- Sandbox gameplay, you do whatever you want.
- Naval battles with up to 3 ships vs. 3 ships.
- Features in naval battles, different types of ammunition, normal bullets that break the ship, shrapnel that kills sailors, boarding attacks that affect the happiness of your crew (you can keep them happy by hiring prostitutes for them), and chained bullets that break the mast of enemy ships. Lose power
- Also, waves can affect your small ship, slowing it down. You have to take into account the wind direction to know where to go, and if you want to go against the wind, zigzag.
- Challenge pirates to a 1-on-1 duel and fight with crazy physics and ragdolls (plus, you do more damage the harder you hit, and your sword fills with blood if you score critical hits).
- Bet on gambling minigames in the tavern with "cockfights" and "extreme chess."
- Listen to rumors in the tavern.
- Hire sailors for your ship.
- Manage buildings and produce new materials by automating production and hiring villagers.
- Easter eggs and references.
- Group your fleet up to 3 ships.“

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„No, price will always be the same. I don't want to include any microtransactions and be straightforward with my pricing. There will be no DLCs and all future updates will be free included with the game. I want the player to be able to enjoy without being presented with constant micro-transactions.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„I'd love to hear from you and tell me your experience so far! I like to hear to people's ideas and maybe implement some that can be good enough and fit the game. “

Infos zum Spiel

Ahoy, ye crafty sea dog! Welcome to SeaCret 1, where the Caribbean’s sun-soaked waves are packed with more chaos than a barrel of over-caffeinated parrots. This sandbox adventure blends sharp strategy with laugh-out-loud humor, letting you swagger as a sly merchant, a swashbuckling pirate, or a governor who definitely knows where they parked their ship (probably). Ready to dive into the madness? Hoist the sails and let’s make some questionable decisions!

Trade Like a Sneaky Sea Peddler

Master a real-time economy where prices swing wilder than a pirate’s mood after too much rum. Every city’s got its own goods and stock levels—snap up cheap spices and sell ‘em high, or risk hauling a shipload of rotting bananas. Plan your trade routes like a pro, or you’ll be the punchline at every port!

Build a Fleet to Scare the Seagulls

Kick off with a creaky tartan that’s one gust away from splinters and work your way up to a glorious galleon that screams “I’m kind of a big deal!” Each ship’s got its own flair—zippy sloops for sneaky raids or chunky frigates for blasting foes. Group up to three ships in your fleet and watch rival captains scurry… or at least row away in a panic.

Naval Battles: Brains, Brawn, and Blunders

Lead 3v3 naval showdowns where strategy meets slapstick. Blast cannonballs to shred hulls, grape shot to turn enemy crews into confetti, or chain shot to snap masts like twigs. Small ships? They’ll bob like corks in stormy waves. Sailing against the wind? Zigzag like a genius or spin in circles like a dizzy parrot. Board enemy ships for chaotic close-quarters fights, but keep your crew happy—hire tavern “entertainers” to boost their spirits, or they’ll mutiny faster than you can say “abandon ship!”

Govern Like a Slightly Shady Mayor

Fancy running a city? Become a governor, slap taxes on your citizens (or play nice, we won’t judge), and watch your town thrive or throw a tantrum. Hire villagers to automate production in your buildings, pumping out goods quicker than you can lose your tax records. Your choices shape your city’s fate—just don’t expect a parade unless you bribe someone.

Tunes to Make You Dance a Jig

Every port in SeaCret 1 rocks its own catchy soundtrack, from rowdy shanties in pirate dens to fancy harpsichord tunes in trade hubs. These bangers will have you humming while you accidentally beach your ship on a sandbar (whoops).

Duels, Bets, and Tavern Tomfoolery

Challenge rival pirates to 1v1 duels with ragdoll physics so wobbly, you’ll giggle as you swing. Land critical hits, watch your sword drip with “totally-not-ketchup,” and deal extra damage with beefy strikes. In taverns, toss your gold into cockfighting or “extreme chess” (it’s as bonkers as it sounds). Eavesdrop on rumors about hidden loot or dodgy deals—chase them, but don’t cry if you end up chasing your own tail.

Crews, Buildings, and Sneaky Surprises

Hire sailors to keep your ships afloat, but keep ‘em grinning with beer and… ahem, “companionship,” or they’ll jump ship quicker than you can say “plank.” Build production facilities and let villagers churn out materials automatically—because who’s got time to chop wood? Hunt for easter eggs and cheeky references scattered across the Caribbean, hidden better than your first mate’s secret rum stash.

In SeaCret 1, the Caribbean’s your playground, and every choice is a shot at glory or a hilarious faceplant. Will you be a merchant mogul, a pirate hunter legend, or a governor who accidentally taxes everyone into a rowboat? Grab your cutlass, lose the map, and dive into the silliest, savviest pirate adventure this side of the seven seas!
