“Game still in production, balance is bad though, so we need feedback.
We are planning to add more variety to the enemies and location, as well as gradually improve user experience. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are planning to
- add new region "AI controller region" filled with robots and security systems
- add new alien enemies: Boomer (exploding on death enemy), Larva (fast, vulnerable but small) and more!
- add new upgrade system that allows to add specific effects like fire on hit, piercing etc to specific weapons
- add new systems: ammo management system, more dynamic vision, more distinct skills for crew
- add unique booses, so that each region type will have at least 3 different bosses following the general theme of a region they will be found in
- make the graphics more retro-style but as a toggle, so people that prefer more smooth look can be happy as well :3”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game includes:
- randomly generated sectors
- dynamic feature-based stations with unique combinations of enemies, rooms and interacrables
- weapons, augments, upgrade system and more
- 6 level rouge-like experience with an end boss at the end

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There is a possibility of adding some "support pack" of some sort, but the game will stay free to play”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As Salvager is not much of an constrained game, basically anything sci-fi can fit into it. We will be listening and taking up for consideration any propositions of new items, enemies, station features, bosses or even sectors.

On top of that of course any complains about compatibility/performance/user experience will also be addressed if brought up to our team.

About This Game

In Salvagers, you command a small crew of greedy explorers that land on abandoned space stations that litter the galaxy, and it's your job to loot them for anything worth a credit. Scrap tech, lost weapons, forgotten treasures because everything has a price.

Travel from system to system, upgrading your gear and expanding your crew. But beware - each station hides its own dangers. Face off against aliens, zombies, rogue AIs, and Federation agents.

With randomized station layouts, loot and weapon upgrade system each run becomes unique! Customize your arsenal, manage your resources, and prepare for the final battle at the Federation Main Station (F.M.S.).
