About This Demo

Go Kart Island is an open world, story-based karting game set on the fictional (if you can believe that) island called... Go Kart Island.

STORY

The island caught up in BIG RACE fever, where the participants compete to become GO KART CHAMPION.

Lachlan the highland cow arrives on the island full of hope to win the BIG RACE just like his dad did years ago. However the Mayor has an election campaign to fund and demands you raise 1,000 coins for an "entry fee" to partake in the race. Talk about a corrupt official. But just HOW can you raise such a ludicrous amount of coins?

Well, you're in luck! The inhabitants of Go Kart Island have no shortage of activities they would like you to partake in and they offer cold, hard cash as a reward. And all of them just happen to be mega fun, guaranteed!*

WHAT'S IN THE DEMO?

The demo features roughly the first quarter of the story mode, and roughly a quarter of the island to explore! In addition there are 20x race challenges, 2x time trial challenges and 1x collect challenge.

EVENTS

The following event types are available in the Demo:

• What good is a karting game without races? Classic karting rules apply, use items to take out your opponents and reach the finish in 1st place. But watch out, some races require you to perform side objectives so not everything is a straight dash to the finish!
  
• Take part in time trials. The islanders are an impatient bunch and need your help to get to their destination as fast as possible. INEXPLICABLE obstacles tend to appear out of nowhere.
  
• Things are lost, and you have to track them down and run them over with your kart as fast as possible. Well, how else are you supposed to collect things? Slowly and with care? That would be stupid.
  
• Chase a target! Perhaps a stealthy pursuit where there is a some husband suspected of mouse cheating (mouse-dultery) and his wife wants you to follow him. Or an unstealeathy high speed chase to catch a CRIMINAL.

EXPLORE

Every moment on Go Kart Island isn't taken up by taking part in some kind of wild event. There's a whole island to explore! The demo opens up roughly one quarter of the available map. Find coins, gems and smash the mayor's advertising boards as you take in the diverse scenery.

CHALLENGES

Aim for the gold trophy in the 23 challenges available in the demo, including 20 races! Adding a twist and replayabilty to events from the main story mode.
