About This Demo

"Is voting really democracy? Or is it a fig leaf for legal spoils?"

You stand on top of a country full of divisions, fears, conflicts of interest and institutional crises, holding the highest power in your hands.

What you have to manage is not a boring set of numbers, but a huge society that is constantly sucked by your family: public opinion will bite you, capital will hunt you, factions will take advantage of you, and crises will shape you.

This is not an idealistic fairy tale, but a reality about power.

When laws and systems begin to prevent you from solving problems (or from making money), will you stick to them, or will you crush them one by one in the name of "national interest"?

⚙️ What you rule is not machines, but deteriorating human nature and greed.

In the game, you will govern through a set of interlocking political systems (and Looting) the country:

  • promotes or distorts the law, reshapes the boundaries of systems and power, and packages the private interests of specific groups into "national will" that conforms to procedures. .

  • conducts propaganda wars to manipulate public opinion and social values.

  • uses intelligence systems to monitor, investigate and obtain evidence of political opponents.

  • actuarial national account book maintains a fragile balance between finance, debt, market and capital.

  • plays political chips, deals with, confronts or conspires with different factions, elite groups and social classes.

🍷 Parasite of the Republic: Blood is the only contract that will not expire

In this huge power machine, bureaucrats will betray and voters will switch sides. Only blood can weld interests to death. You are not only the helm of the country, but also the head of a secret family. This country is just your host, a breeding ground for parasitism in your family.

Insert your cronies and heirs into the judiciary, military and energy giants, not only to secretly manipulate government affairs, but also to steal the foundation of the country. The country's treasury may go bankrupt, but your family trust must not shrink.

When the crisis comes, you will choose to sacrifice an heir.To quell public anger, or to preserve the family's monopoly by letting the entire economy die with it?

🌪️ Scripts spanning eras: Each era has its own fatal flaw (there is only one script in the Demo version)

With the addition of [Multi-era Script Mode], you will travel through the historical gaps of nearly twenty years. Each script has different crisis logic and governance costs:

  • 2001 | Red Alert: National Crisis. On September 11, the skyline collapsed. How much scope will you give the government for surveillance and overreach in order to hunt down terrorists? When the people actively trade fear for security, the expansion of power will become easier than ever.

  • 2018 | Gilded Cage: Class Fault. The prosperity of science and technology coexists with the survival crisis of the bottom class, and the wealth of the top 1% engulfs everything. You can try to redistribute wealth, but every time you touch vested interests, there will be a crazy counterattack by capital within and outside the rules.

  • 2020 | The Great Rip: The Death of Truth. The epidemic, elections and algorithms have torn society in half. In this era where even "common sense" cannot be maintained, neutrality is the first to be crushed. Will you mend the rift, or actively take advantage of polarization and turn division into your most reliable basis for rule?

  • 2024 | On the verge of default: The debt abyss. The nation's future is being eaten up by the bills of the past. You can choose brutal austerity and endure the collapse of support rates and social unrest; or you can continue to overdraw your credit and hand over the time bomb to latecomers.

  • 2024 | Silicon-based power grab: humanity eliminated. The wave of AI efficiency is rewriting society’s production logic. If algorithms are more efficient than bureaucrats and more stable than politicians, will you hand over power to machines, or will you continue to insist on this shaky rule for the sake of human dignity?

👑 The ultimate question: The intergenerational inheritance of power and the game of liquidation

The real core of "Voting Empire" is not whether you can save the country, but when you really can When your ability makes it work, , can you still accept that you are just a temporary ruler? .

"For the good of the country" is the most beautiful and dangerous excuse when all power is out of control.

and What you really fear is not stepping down, but the gavel that will liquidate your family after you step down.

In order to ensure that your heirs can safely inherit that incredibly wealthy business empire, you must completely bury all your political opponents during your term of office. Here, re-election is not just victory, and abdication is not just defeat.

It is easy to rule an era, but it is really difficult to decide whether this country still deserves to have a future after your era.
