Miksi Early Access?

We want to bring players the experience of being a pirate as soon as possible. Early access allows us to provide the core gameplay to users while also continuing to update the game. For us, early access is a way to let the community participate in the creation of Sails and enjoy the development of the game in real time.

We plan to add more content throughout the early access period. This includes items, ships, map alterations and community feedback changes.

The early access version of sails contains the base content to provide an enjoyable gameplay loop. There are multiple guns, ships, factions, and building assets. Many islands are strewn across the map which all have unique towns and villages. Core features include gathering, building, crafting, PVP and PVE.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We plan to raise the price when Sails shifts from Alpha to Beta and Beta to final release.

We are active within our discord server and on social media. Players are encouraged to voice their feedback on gameplay and suggest new ideas. We want to build a game that both fits our idea of Sails and what the community expects.

In Sails, you step into a multiplayer world where piracy rules the seas and every decision can mean life or death. Navigate a vast world alongside friends and build your stronghold to secure your place in this world. Explore islands, raid large forts, and form powerful alliances to survive the constant threats from other crews. Command your ship through intense naval battles where strategy and teamwork decides the victor. In Sails the open ocean is yours to conquer, only if you’re ready to face the dangers lurking beyond the horizon.

RAID AND PLUNDER

Battle rival crews across land and sea in exciting raids. Lay siege to enemy bases, steal their loot, and defend your own from other pirates. Attack on land or use naval bombardment to soften targets. When you're not fighting players, raid NPC towns, tribal villages, and strongholds for extra rewards.

Pirates can be found hanging by noose in certain parts of the world and dead in cages. Violence includes animals/humans being shot, stabbed and blown up by explosions. This includes voxel depictions of limbs and blood.
Players may be nude but there is no character genitalia and no sexual acts.
