What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“I want to provide players with an amount of content befitting my passion and love for the deckbuilding genre, but I need a way to open up critique to the public while I finish developing the rest of the decks. Mechanics are set in stone however, and all content added will merely enhance or expand them to greater ends.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Three Finger will be in early access no longer than 3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to design multiple new starting deck, alternatives for all base decks, unlockable cards, more islands, more worlds, unique boss skins, and more boss skins. We also wish to strengthen our User Interface and HUD as much as possible to allow ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing gameplay. Of course balancing and new content is always going to be part of the plan!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Three Finger's early access state; includes a mechanically finished card tagging system, 100 cards, 6 island tiles, 5 decks, cosmetic unlocks for each of those decks, 5 worlds, 12 unique boss encounters, 10 island tile upgrades, and 10 landmarks.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We do not plan on changing price after Early Access, ever.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will do polls on custom cards via the discord. Voting on deck specific icon cards, and community suggested relics and abilities. We will allow player feedback to shape the current mechanical balance. For instance, if we find that one particular strategy is winning too consistently over another. It would see nerfs and improvements to other builds that makes them just as viable in their own unique ways. We will also respond to reviewer complaints on quality of life features, settings, and respond to any overlooked accessibility features should they arise.”

About This Game

Three Finger is a positionally puzzling roguelike deck builder, where you can build the board too! Combo cards together to beat back a powerful evil!

Featuring

  • Directional card tagging: Build an army of hero's and have them amplify each other with their special directional abilities, chain them well and optimize unit health and armor, but beware, not all units play nice.

  • Board Building: Sure drafting cards are cool, but have you ever thought about upgrading where you place them? Put a knight into a golden earthly paradise, bring rainbows to hell, and make your fish swim in blood! Your troops gain unique advantages depending on their type and the board's modifier.

  • Evil Bosses: An ancient race of floating skulls called  ETORZ  will attack your board and deck in unique ways! Fight through their devilish tricks, or tank the hit head on!

  • Special landmarks: While individual tiles can be upgraded and modified; landmarks will alter the way your entire board works! Some cards function better than others in the awe of such powerful structures.
