About This Game

Goldrot is a minimalist roguelite colony sim set on a procedurally generated floating island. Pick one card at a time from a rotating shop of offers — but every choice raises future prices. Survive the night and face the consequences of your placement.

Gameplay

Merchant Smoofcicks rolls three offers. Pick one, place it, watch prices climb. Every purchase reshapes what comes next — buy too eagerly and you'll be priced out before nightfall.

When the day ends, the colony settles in. Tents pitched too close will drive dwarves to violence. Gold mines left unwatched will be picked clean by your own people. These dwarves are, frankly, a menace.
