Using community feedback, the goal is to steer the project towards more and better content. This includes improved game mechanics, more levels and multiple endings. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The earliest estimate for a 1.0 release is Dec 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will not include the planned ending of the game.
The current ambition of the full version is to have not one, but many, game endings that early supporters of the game helped influence.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently playable with most of its features already in place.

The beginning of the game will provide an intentionally brief introduction to the game's base mechanics and throw you into 4 zones of increasingly difficult levels that require more precision and thoughtful planning. After utilizing the game's unique "Planning Mode", the player will be able to experiment with various approaches to overcome hand-crafted platforming challenges.

Though the playtime of the Early Access version will vary drastically based on player skill level, it is roughly 50% of the content planned for the full release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Soul Astray will have a lower price during Early Access.
At full release, the price will increase to reflect the completion of additional content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“From inputs received on Kickstarter to reviews left on the Early Access/demo, community involvement will help guide the development process.”
