StarFront: Lancers offers multiple ways to test your skill and strategy:

• GAUNTLET MODE (Rogue-like): A brutal test of luck and skill. Journey across the solar system, facing escalating challenges. After each battle, you'll earn powerful buffs and new gear to aid your survival.

• BASTION MODE (Horde Defense): Defend a vital space station against relentless, ever-increasing waves of enemy forces. Upgrade your station's defenses and fight until the last ship falls.

• COMMANDER MODE (RTS-Like): Take tactical command of a small task force in this engaging, RTS-style game mode. Manage resources, position your units, and execute strategic maneuvers to crush the enemy fleet.

• HERO COLLECTOR: Collect and manage a roster of unique Heroes, each tied to a distinct, unlockable ship. Level up your pilots, customize their ships with new weaponry and equipment, and define your ultimate fighting style.

• LOOT & EQUIPMENT: Earn valuable loot, items, and high-level gear across all game modes. Use your spoils to permanently upgrade and modify your Heroes and their vessels.

• SKILL TREE: Diversify your characters' abilities through an extensive skill tree. Invest your hard-earned skill points to unlock powerful new upgrades and new variations for their unique special abilities.
