About This Game

Mana Battle

Build the ultimate hero guild, master positioning and triggers, and aim for a Gold Victory—or see how far you can go in Infinite Mode!
Mana Battle is a PvE roguelite autobattler played on a 3×3 board, where positioning is everything. Choose a core crystal, discover devastating synergies, and climb to the top with each match. Every decision matters!

How to Play

The goal of Mana Battle is to destroy the enemy team’s crystal while protecting your own. To do this, you recruit units from across the galaxy. Units cannot damage or protect each other directly—only the crystals. However, units can empower others by making them faster, slower, or stronger.

Reading Unit Descriptions

Cooldown
How long it takes for a unit to perform its action(s).
Example: A unit with a cooldown of 3s acts every 3 seconds.

Basic Abilities

These actions use the unit’s Power as a reference. Increasing Power strengthens damage, healing, shields, poison, and regeneration effects.

Damage

Directly harms the enemy crystal.
Example: Damage 30 — This unit deals 30 damage to the enemy crystal.

Shield

Creates a protective barrier on your crystal that absorbs damage until depleted.
Example: Shield 40 — This unit adds 40 shield to the allied crystal.

Poison

Deals damage over time and ignores shields.
Example: Poison 20 — The enemy crystal takes 2 damage per second (20 over 10s).

Regen

Restores life every second.
Example: Regen 30 — The allied crystal restores 3 life per second (30 over 10s).

Heal

Restores your crystal’s life and removes poison equal to 10% of the amount healed.
Example: Heal 20 — The allied crystal restores 20 life and removes 2 poison.

Advanced Effects

Haste

Doubles a unit’s cooldown recovery speed while active.
Example: “Haste for 2 seconds” means the unit completes 4 seconds of cooldown during that time.

Slow

The opposite of Haste. Haste and Slow cancel each other out.

Charge

Instantly reduces a unit’s current cooldown by a set amount.
Example: If a unit needs 3s to activate and receives Charge 1s, it will activate in 2s.

Increase Power

Increases a unit’s Power. Bonus Power is lost at the end of combat unless the description states it is permanent.

Critical Damage

Some units have, or can gain, a chance to deal double damage, healing, shielding, poison, or regeneration.
If critical chance exceeds 100%, one-fifth of the excess is converted into Power.
Example: 140% critical chance results in double damage plus 8 bonus Power.

Reactions

Some units can react to enemy actions. Reactions occur 200ms after the triggering action.

Example:
“When a row ally uses Heal, Haste 1 random ally for 1s.”
