With each major patch, the current wave of limited-rarity items will rotate out permanently and be replaced with new ones. These items will be fully removed from the game when we reach 1.0 — never to return.

Whether you hunt alone or with a team, Early Access operatives can leave their mark by collecting rare gear that proves you were there before the true containment protocols began.

Note from the Developer

Once development on Phantom Containment officially concludes, and End of Life is announced the game will be opened up to the community. Modders will have full access and support to extend, tweak, or transform the game however they like.

There will be no server shutdowns. No kill-switches. Just a growing sandbox for the horror community to thrive.

I’ve been in your shoes—losing access to games I paid for simply because the devs decided they were done. That sucks, and I don’t want that to happen with Phantom Containment.

So when I eventually EoL the game , I won’t just walk away—I’ll leave behind the tools, mod support, and everything needed so you and the community can keep the world alive, build your own stories, and enjoy the game on your terms.
