“I chose early access for Bob Saves the Princess to show more people the game, get their opinions on items, rooms, enemies, balance and overall gameplay in order to build a better and improved game. I want to provide a challenging yet satisfying game for everyone to have fun with.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Being a solodev, I intend on continuing production of this game until the list of features I have is in the game. I believe all future features I intend to develop can be done within 1 year, also considering bug fixes and the inclusion of possible suggestions from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to expand the story and gameplay of the game in the future.

Upcoming content could include:
- More items with different effects and gameplay
- More rooms with different effects
- More enemies and bosses with different effects
- Added gameplay features related to bosses
- Story content detailing the past of the princess and her kingdom”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“With a different take on a Roguelite, Bob Saves the Princess has a wide variety of items, rooms, enemies and bosses and provides quick paced (and kinda stressful) gameplay where you get to help equip and guide an adventurer so that he reaches the final floor to face the ultimate boss of the dungeon.”

“There are no current plans to change the price for the full release.”

About This Game

Bob Saves the Princess is a Roguelite about controlling the roguelite elements themselves.

Bob heard the Princess had gone missing and went to look for her, meanwhile the Princess snuck into the depths of the Tempus dungeon and stole a time controlling artifact. You play as the Princess who needs Bob to reach the last floor alive and well equipped to defeat the previous owner of that artifact.

Roll for items, control the path, help out in battles, summon helpers and keep Bob alive all while he can't stop moving from room to room facing numerous enemies, going deeper and deeper in the dungeon, finding better treasures, but facing more powerful foes.
