Why Early Access?

“We’re taxing the dungeon early to fund future tales. Wanderers' Outpost is our system-heavy flagship, launching it in Early Access helps us gather gold (and feedback) to support our upcoming narrative-driven games. Plus, we want players to help shape what features and content we add next. Your outpost, your rules (mostly).”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“During Early Access, we’ll focus on polishing core systems and adding features based on player feedback. After launch, we still plan to expand the game with new content — more dungeons, lores, and surprises, so your outpost will keep growing long after it’s built.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan the full version will expand on the foundation laid in Early Access with more building options, deeper town politics, and a wider variety of adventurers and events. We also plan to refine simulation systems, improve UI/UX, improve art assets, and introduce lore and trading layers that connect outposts across the Isles. Our goal is to make every player's settlement feel truly unique, and just barely holding together.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes core gameplay systems: settlement building, adventurer simulation, tax economy, and basic dungeon crawling. Players can manage their outpost, attract adventurers, and influence dungeon outcomes. While the foundation is solid, expect bugs, placeholder art, and systems that still need balancing, it's a bit rough, but fully playable and already fun in that "please don’t die in the dungeon" kind of way.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, like Factorio, we plan to gradually raise the price as we add more features and content. The earlier you join, the better the deal. It’s the classic adventurer’s rule: brave the dungeon first, claim the best loot.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll be actively listening to player feedback through forums, Discord, and Steam discussions to shape features, balance changes, and future content. Expect regular updates with patch notes, community polls, and sneak peeks. If you're passionate about dungeon taxes or want your favorite adventurer archetype to get a buff, we’re all ears, this outpost is built together.”
