Miksi Early Access?

We want our community to be able to get involved with Snogbert's quest as soon as possible, so an Early Access release for "Worlds 1-3" seemed like the best way to do that!

We will be releasing quality updates to "Worlds 1-3" over time, and we plan to test support for Steam features like achievements and leaderboards while still in Early Access.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

But seriously. We hope to release "Worlds 4-5" sometime in mid-to-late 2026.

Until then, we'll be transparent about the progress via our monthly devlogs (uploaded to @SnogbertGame and @MrStarman18 on Instagram, Twitter/X, and Tiktok) as well as via announcements made to the Steam page. And we'll be updating "Worlds 1-3" in the meantime too ;)

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

"Snogbert Worlds 1-3" includes roughly the first half of the game, with 3 worlds and 1 minigame.
Our plan for the "Worlds 4-5" release is to include Worlds 4 and 5 (of course), as well as a good pot of side content, easter eggs, and general polish based on the feedback received during Early Access.

We'll be keeping our cards close to the chest (or our dice in their tray) so that we don't spoil the surprise! But again, keep an eye on our social medias and Steam announcements to see what updates we DO reveal.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Content-wise, "Snogbert: Worlds 1-3" includes:
- World 1: Brick Bunker
- World 2: Crystal Caverns
- World 3: Dank Depths
- 1 minigame
- 3 animated (currently silent) coffee-break-style cutscenes

This version supports 3 save files, allowing players to try the Casual and Rogue game modes!

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We plan to raise the price exactly one time when "Worlds 4-5" releases, to reflect the new amount of content. Any potential future updates will either be paid DLC or free to our players, not another price increase.

Since Snogbert is still in active development, we'll be able to acknowledge player feedback throughout Early Access.

About the Game

Snogbert is a one-room 2D platformer that combines arcade run-and-jump gameplay with roguelike progression.

But in Snogbert, it's not just the levels that are random...it's the missions that happen in them! With just a roll of the dice, our hero could need to do anything from smelling flowers to outrunning shadow copies of himself! These 10+ unique missions change the way you'll explore each level. Hope you're feeling lucky!

Game Modes

New to arcade/rogue games? No problem! Snogbert offers 2 game modes for players of all skill levels:

Take on a challenge in Rogue Mode, where health is shared between worlds and dying restarts the adventure from the beginning. Compete for the best time!
Or enjoy a more relaxed experience in Casual Mode, where each world stays available once it's been reached. Take your time and jump back in whenever you want!

Story

The legendary infinite-sided (or one-sided?) die has fallen through layers of cave into the Brick Bunker at its bottom, and pieces of him chipped off on the way down! To get Snogbert home, you'll have to help him through 5 distinct worlds and collect his missing shards along the way. Each world is painted in its own color palette and adds new enemies, items, and missions to the fray!

These challenges lurk around every corner, and the biggest obstacle of all is the elusive and mysterious Shadowmaster...

But with your help, there's nothing Snogbert can't do! Make use of our hero's unique momentum-based wall-jump to soar to new heights. Master his movement to roll through every platforming challenge. Overcome the random missions and escape from the caves!
