„Cryptbound already has a solid foundation, but there’s still a lot I want to build on. Early Access gives me the time and community feedback I need to develop the bigger features I’ve planned before the full release.“

„I plan to complete Cryptbound within a year, but it will remain in Early Access until I’m fully satisfied with the game. Player feedback and the pace of development will play a big role in shaping the final release.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„As mentioned, the game is currently in it's very early stages. My main goals for the Early Access is to build an overall better experience before the full release, this includes: bug fixes, more traps, more objectives, improved player experience and more. I want the game to feel like something you can reliably come back to and have a good time with. Once all of these features and conditions have been met, I will consider the full release.“

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„The game is in extremely early development with most of the core foundations set up for future use. I want to get feedback about the additions from the very beginning, but that also means I need to release in a very early and unpolished state. Currently, you're able to play online matches, as the dungeon boss, you're able to place traps and hunt explorers. As explorer, you're able to collect resources and escape, please refer to the "ABOUT THIS GAME" section for more details.“

„I do plan to increase the price as the game develops. But as always, it'll depend on the game's state and my satisfaction at the time of release.“

„Cryptbound is still in the early stages of development and has plenty of room to grow. I’ll be keeping an eye on community feedback—especially on the Cryptbound Discord server and through online videos. If I see cool ideas or suggestions, there’s a good chance I’ll use them to help shape the game’s future.“

Guardians

As a Dungeon Guardian, your role is to protect the dungeon and its precious energy crystals from intruding explorers. You have two paths to victory:

Outlast the explorers until the mission timer runs out, sending them back to their world empty-handed.
Eliminate all explorers before they can escape with the crystals.

Use your abilities strategically to control the dungeon:

Trap Placement – Lay cunning traps in unexpected places to slow down, injure, or isolate the explorers. A well-placed trap can change the course of the hunt.
Manifestation – Take on a terrifying physical form for a limited time. Use this opportunity to actively hunt, corner, and destroy those who dare to steal from you.

Guardians are the embodiment of the dungeon’s wrath. Patience, planning, and precision are your greatest weapons.

Explorers

As an Explorer, your mission is simple—but far from easy: infiltrate the dungeon, locate powerful energy crystals, and escape before time runs out… or before something finds you.

You’ll need to rely on teamwork, caution, and quick thinking to survive. The dungeon is filled with hidden dangers and an ever-watchful Guardian determined to stop you.

Your tools for survival include:

Team Coordination – Work closely with two other explorers. Split up to cover ground quickly, or stick together to outmaneuver traps and survive sudden encounters.
Trap Awareness – Stay alert. The Guardian can place traps in unpredictable locations. Sharp eyes and steady nerves will keep you alive.
Stealth and Speed – Make smart choices: sneak past threats or sprint to safety. Managing noise and movement is often the difference between life and death.
Crystal Extraction – Locate and secure energy crystals, then find your way to an extraction point. Time is limited, and the deeper you go, the more dangerous it gets.

Only the most resourceful explorers will make it out with their lives—and the crystals.
