The dynamic event system knows no “happy ending,” and every decision carries both benefits and costs. Economic collapse? The powerful don’t trade in cash. They trade in faith, influence, and obedience. Wealth is measured in followers, authority, connections, and reputation - volatile resources that rise and fall with every decision you make. Instead of hoarding coins, you leverage devotion: volunteers build your temples, loyalists secure favors, insiders divert supplies, and fear or charity bend officials to your will. 

This design enforces meaningful scarcity (population limits, shifting morality, waning legitimacy) and removes the comfort of infinite credits - you must constantly earn obedience, protect trust, and manage political ties.
