“We plan for Off World Racing to be in Early access for 8 - 12 Months. We have 3 Major milestones in our last 20% of development.

1 - Launch stable build with 4 worlds, full physics engine, and 8 vehicles. Collect telemetry & player feedback.

2 - Implement feedback, add new tracks, Visual Damage, and implement Steam leaderboards, polish UI & visuals, and expand multiplayer stability.

3 - Final content integration, Multiple Language Support, console certification prep, marketing & press push.

¿Qué tan diferente será la versión completa de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“Our Launch version is a unique, fun, and content-rich game. We do plan on expanding on Steam leaderboards for Simulation and Arcade modes. We also plan to improve the damage system, as this is crucial to simulation mode and just visual damage for arcade mode. Over the duration of our roadmap, we plan to enhance the launch game visually and functionally as we collaborate with our Early Access community to build upon and improve Off World Racing.”

¿Cuál es el estado actual de la versión de Acceso anticipado?

“Our launch version of Off World Racing is stable, and all core systems aside from Online Multiplayer (PVP) are in place and working.

Single player includes 8 vehicles & 4 unique worlds. The Moon, Mars, Io and Europa. There are a variety of races, time trials, and obstacle courses spread across 16 locations/races.

Simulation mode and Arcade are working as intended, with Arcade being much easier and Simulation mode being realistic.

Multiplate Split screen (2 Players is working correctly)

The Mini (create your own) championship is in place and working, allowing you to select multiple races in arcade mode in the order you wish to play them; this is also supported in Split Screen. Currently, at the end of your championship, the scores are all correct, but we plan to add a podium cinematic ending during early access.

“We plan to raise the price of the game upon full release. As we finalise and polish up Off-world racing, a small price increase is planned.”

¿Cómo tienes planeado involucrar a la comunidad en tu proceso de desarrollo?

“Our Early access community will be a critical part of our final development strategy. While most of the core game is in place, we value community feedback in every form. We will mainly be using the Steam Forums for general feedback and bug reports. Monthly transparent updates with detailed patch notes will be as crucial for us as our Off-World Racing Community. As we branch out of "normal" racing games, we plan to release Steam Guides, physics deep dives Videos each Month on our YouTube & website and other social media. We will also expand with design diaries as we gather feedback from our community, which will better explain the vehicles designed for off-world. We have a very unique racing game and invite the community to give feedback at every step of our Journey as we tweak and improve Off World Racing. ”
